  Types of Flooring Materials You Should Know

  Timber

They are also easier to install and do not have a risk of getting damaged by scratching. Excellent quality laminates are durable and need minimal maintenance and can be installed under-floor heating.

  Vinyl

  You should note that vinyl flooring is supplied in tiles or rolls and is fixed by gluing. It is manufactured by a wide range of profiles and colors. Like laminate flooring, it can simulate the appearance of a wide range of materials. The good thing about vinyl is that it is durable, easy to keep clean, and maintain; it is relatively inexpensive and easy to install.

  Bamboo

  Instead of being wood, this is grass that is compressed into a flooring material, and it is joined by nails or glue. It is a renewable resource and resistant to water. As a result of its inadequate hardness as compared with good, it is prone to be scratched and dented.

  Cork

  Cork is water-resistant, renewable material that is ideal for many spaces such as bathroom installations and basement. It can be joined together in the same manner as laminates. You should note that cork floors are flexible and warm, but can be damaged by sharp objects.
